Is the Hazel Bowl ovenproof?

Yes. The bowl is ovenproof and suitable for warming or serving oven-baked dishes.

Does the bowl need to be seasoned before first use?

Yes. Before first use, rub the bowl inside and out with cooking oil, then place it in the oven at 160°C for approximately 30 minutes. This helps prepare and protect the natural terracotta.

Is the Hazel Bowl dishwasher safe?

No. To preserve its natural finish, we recommend washing the bowl by hand in warm water with a mild dish soap.

Will every bowl look the same?

No. Each Hazel Bowl is handmade and fired over an open flame, so slight variations in colour, texture and finish are part of its unique character.
