Care & Maintenance
Care & Maintenance
For daily cleaning, use a clean, dry cloth, ideally a cotton cloth. Avoid scouring pads or synthetic cloths as these may cause scratches. To remove dirt, use a damp cotton cloth firmly wrung in clean water. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents, as this may damage the furniture. Use cleaning agents without solvents and only use mild soap

A timeless icon of Nordic craftsmanship.
First created in 1936 and still handcrafted in Denmark today, the Shoemaker Chair™ embodies simplicity, balance, and precision.
Each seat is carved from a single solid piece of wood—making every chair completely unique thanks to the natural woodgrain variations. Supported by turned legs and a stabilizing T-bar, it forms a harmonious silhouette that feels both sculptural and grounded.
Though its shape may look simple, the craftsmanship behind it is anything but. Every curve is carefully carved for comfort, then hand-finished through a three-step process of staining or oiling—resulting in a chair that’s as enduring as it is elegant.
Details:
• Handmade in Denmark since 1936
• Solid wood seat carved from a single piece
• Finished by hand for a natural, tactile feel
• A true piece of Nordic design heritage
