Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in nature. Under optimal conditions, it can reach full maturity in just 3-4 months, whereas a typical tree may take over 35 years to achieve the same growth. This rapid growth makes it an excellent renewable resource. Bamboo plants act as carbon sinks, storing more carbon than many tree species.

Use a soft, dry cloth, feather duster, or a soft-bristle brush to remove dust regularly.

For a more thorough clean, you can use a slightly damp (not wet) microfiber cloth to wipe down the bamboo. Avoid soaking the bamboo or using a dripping-wet cloth, as excess moisture can damage or warp the material.

Bamboo can fade and become brittle if exposed to too much direct sunlight, so if possible, position the pendant light away from direct sun exposure.

Bamboo is sensitive to humidity, so avoid placing it in areas with extreme humidity like bathrooms. This can prevent mold growth and maintain the integrity of the bamboo.

If you notice the bamboo drying out, applying a natural oil (like linseed oil) occasionally can help restore some moisture and luster to the material. Always test in a small, inconspicuous area first and avoid over-application.
